Valerie obtained a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis in Language Acquisition and a Bachelors Degree in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing at Dominican University in San Rafael, California. She has been teaching ESL to groups of third and fourth graders from Agnesi Elementary and Torregianni Ferrucci. Her classes focus on language acquisition through TPR (total physical response), using activities that are both fun and motivational.
